The farm faced a 35% crop loss year on year due to weather incidents, stemming from the fact that the peppers were planted under a fixed shade net structure that slowed evaporation during prolonged rains.

The client was a small but growing cannabis facility with tight budget constraints. Consequently, they required a fertilizer solution to help meet the heavy demands of cannabis while transitioning from premixed fixed batches of fertilizer to a concentration injection method.

Facing an outdated climate control system that no longer met their needs, the customer sought a solution to modernise their greenhouse management.

Our customer embarked on establishing a new growing facility in Lesotho. Their requirements were clear: they needed a climate control system that would minimise energy costs, provide remote access, and allow for efficient control.

Our client made substantial investments into irrigation and fertigation system for their farm. However, as the farm expanded, they encountered challenges through the continuous addition of basic controllers resulting in a complex web of thirteen standard twenty four channel control units.

Our customer faced a challenge with an imported climate control system that proved overly intricate and ill-suited for the harsh African infrastructure environment.
