New Turnkey
Our customer embarked on establishing a new growing facility in Lesotho. Their requirements were clear: they needed a climate control system that would minimise energy costs, provide remote access, and allow for efficient control. Operating from Gauteng, Johannesburg while managing a farm in Lesotho, they faced the unique challenges of harsh African infrastructure, which were further amplified in a country like Lesotho. Their quest led them to seek a company that not only understood these challenges but also offered innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Our client enjoyed the convenience of global access, allowing them to monitor and manage their operations from anywhere on the planet. The multipurpose climate-controlled structure they implemented not only shielded crops from the unpredictable elements but also significantly boosted yield. This harmonious blend of technology and nature ensured a thriving agricultural venture.

AgriLogiq’s easy-to-use turn-key solution enables modern farming through simplified software and effective hardware.
Definition: The ability to regulate temperature, humidity and overall environmental conditions within a space.
Use case: Climate control is used to keep the environment inside a greenhouse at the optimal growing conditions for plants.
Definition: The external weather station is a weather monitoring system made up of a temperature/humidity sensor, anemometer, wind vane, rain bucket and rain eye. It transmits readings wirelessly to the zone controller, or in the case of a standalone unit, the readings can be accessed from the web portal. The weather station runs on a battery backup to ensure it is always running, even when mains power has been lost. There is also the option to power the station with a solar panel for remote areas where mains power is not available.
Use case: The external weather station is placed on the outside of the greenhouse in order to measure the outdoor weather readings, such as temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, and whether or not there is rain so that appropriate action can be taken to provide optimal growing conditions for the plants.
